About Manó

Manó is a contemporary BioArtist, the first who creates sustainable art using a cellulose-based biomaterial made from Kombucha on glass. She works with living organisms, controlling their life cycle through a unique fermentation process to capture and preserve them at their most beautiful state. This art project is her silent rebellion against climate change and plastic culture.

  • "Another fabulous print from Marietta. This is my second! The Calathea Ornata is gorgeous and has Marietta's trademark touches. In this case it's black tea!"
