Marietta, also known as Manó, is a contemporary artist who brings together her background in cooking, fermentation and sustainable living to create unique and meaningful works of art. After nearly a decade working as a chef, she returned to her passion for art and founded ManoConcept in 2020.

At the heart of her work is a commitment to circular design, using recycled materials and her own special biomaterial, crafted through a controlled fermentation process using only natural ingredients. Her colour palettes are derived from teas, fruits, and vegetables, making her work not only visually stunning but also environmentally conscious.

Each piece is handmade from recycled wine bottles, a material that Marietta has found to be a natural canvas for her original designs. She takes time to cut, sand, and polish the bottles by hand, embracing their imperfections as a reflection of the natural processes she incorporates into her work.

Marietta's pieces are a reflection of her deep passion and philosophy on sustainable living and working with nature. Her work combines traditional techniques with innovative approaches and is characterized by circular shapes and unique patterns, ensuring that no two pieces are ever the same.

We invite you to explore Marietta's work and experience the beauty, creativity and sustainable nature of her pieces. Each one is crafted with love and care, and we are sure you will appreciate them as much as she loves creating them.
